The main reasons why the band is "a cut above the rest" is because we perform the appropriate songs. The sets we play are not the ever day band arrangements or songs just thrown together. We have the right chemistry, professionalism, and amazing energy on stage. For us to give anything less than 100% is unacceptable!
Based upon the wishes of our client we will, at times, create a set list specifically for you. We also pride ourselves on the talent of our group leader, Paul Hogu, for inserting just the right song at just the right time while on stage. This is normally based upon the atmosphere, client wants and needs, and the experience of Paul. We perform every genre' of music including Jazz, R&B, Pop, Rock, Latin, etc. We offer options to our clients that includes providing cocktail music for any event with a combo of any size. We can also provide Wedding Ceremony Music with any combination.
Basically, "the sky's the limit".
We are client friendly. We pay attention to what it is the client wants and understand all of the clients' needs and concerns. This is handled way before your event takes place. Paul makes it as convenient for the client as possible. This is normally accomplished via face-to-face meetings and, if better for the client, will discuss your itinerary over the phone. We take great care and concern with our clients to ensure the event will be totally successful. Remember, "It's your special day, event, and/or function".
We have a promotional package available to clients who request it. We also have "samples" in the "Song List" section of our website you may listen to as well. We have been very busy in the studio arranging and recording original material and plan for our CD release in 2009.
Because the individual members of The Pulse Of Boston bring their expertise from various music backgrounds there is what some have described as a "natural blending of talent." This natural blending has developed into what is now being called as a "Musical Matrix".
